3. Lakshmi Ashram (2.Km.)- Lakshmi Ashram also known as Sarla Ashramis an educational instituted by Sarla Behan (Kathesine Mary Heiemann). Sarla Behan was than great admirer of Mahatma Gandhi who left London in 1932 to join with the movements of Mahatma Gandhi.
4. Sumitranandan Pant Gallery (2 Km.)- Sumitranandan Pant Gallery is a museum located at Kausani and is Dedicated to the great Hindi poet Sumitranandan Pant Whose birth place is Kausani . The museum is housed in the same house in which the poet spends his childhood days.

7. Baijnath Temple (18Km.)- Baijnath is located about 18 Km. from Kausani. It is a small, ancient time which seems to have been unaffected by time .It was once the capital of the karyuri dynasty of kings and this place was known as kartikyapura Main attraction are the 12^th century old temple of  Shiva, Ganesh,Chandika, Kuber,Surya and Brahma with beautiful carving and sculptures. 8. Bageshwar (40Km.)- Bageshwar a famous pilgrimage town assumed to be blessed by lard Shiva, is located at the convergence of Sarayu and Gomati rivers. This is also famous for Hill climbing and Gomati river basin is a starting location for hiking.
9. Chaukori (87Km.)- Chaukori is a famous for majestic proximity of Himalayas and an unbounded view of Himalayan peaks.
10. Rudradhari Water Fall (10Km.) – Rudradhari water fall and caves in kausani are located at a place with terraced fields lush green paddy fields and dense green pine forest. The puranic stories relate this place with lord Shiva (Rudra) and Lord Vishnu (Hari). The caves are natural and very impressive. There is a tracking point also. 11. Someshwar (12Km.) – Located on the Almora – Kausani highway. It is beautiful, small town. The Shiva temple that is located here is the 12^th Jyotirlings.
12. Trekking Point –  Just walk down the hill amidst dense forests. Trek around to reach the highest. Point of the hill, Pinath is a small village which can reach after a 5 Km. trek from Kausani. It is situated at an altitude of 2750 meter. Above sea level and it overlook the beautiful Kosi valley.
